Cooks and Housekeepers

We hire a very limited number of cooks (1-2 positions) and housekeepers (1 position) each summer. The job descriptions and applications for these positions are differrent; they are available online through Appalachian State University's Office of Human Resource Services. Here are the steps you need to follow in order to apply online:

  1. Go to http://www.jobs.appstate.edu
  2. Click "Search Postings" in the upper right hand corner.
  3. Under the heading labeled "Classification Title," find "TEMP POOL-Housekeeper" and "TEMP POOL-Food Services."
  4. Click "View/Apply" under the position you are interested in applying for to see the job description and application.
  5. Click "Apply For This Posting" to complete an application.
  6. After you complete an application, please contact us.
